Molecular Biology and Genetics is a science with enormous potential for humanbenefit. It includes product and technology achieved with a well-directed effort and process.Our department, which is located in the priority areas of our country's development planning,aims to bring up qualified personnel who can contribute to RD activities in the fields ofBiotechnology, Nanotechnology and Molecular Biology for the future. In this context,biotechnology strives to develop economic and technological solutions to many problems inthe areas like health, environment, food and agriculture. Our department started to educationwith undergraduate and graduate programs in the 2013-2014 academic year, and then it wasstrengthened with the addition of the PhD program in 2018-2019 academic year. Graduatestudents will have the qualifications to meet the technological needs of our country with theirknowledge.
